Kenya Tourist Visa Reduction And Free Luggage Allowance For Divers

Kenya has taken a positive step recently to encourage tourists to the country by halving the cost of its entry visa. From the 01st April 2009 the cost of visas has been reduced from $50 to $25 and children get in free.

A family of four will now pay just $50 for the two adults, giving them a saving of $150.  Kenya’s Tourism minister Najib Balala said the measure was to help make the country an even more appealing destination for visitors and to further attract its growing diving market. More good news for divers to Kenya is the free luggage allowance BA, Virgin and Kenya Airways offers all divers visiting the country.
