The Best Curry in Sharm El Sheikh
I love curry and need very little excuse to visit a restaurant whenever I go away. On a recent trip to Sharm El Sheikh I asked my Egyptian guide where I could find “The Best Curry in Town”. He mentioned a few places where the locals eat which is always a very good indication on the quality of teh food and standards of their food hygiene, we were also recommended teh Bombay restaurant in Soho Square.
Soho Square is a new development owned by the Savoy Hotel and offers a wide range of quality restaurants, bars, an ice rink and even a nigh club. We arrived for our 8pm reservation and were greeted with a welcoming smile and shown to our table. The atmosphere was buzzing and everyone seemed to be having a great time, including us. A round of Sakara Beer arrived soon after our arrival and our friendly waiter “Mohammmed” was on hand to suggest the chefs best dishes.
Our food arrived fresh from the open plan kitchen cooked by the authentic Indian Chef and we were not disappointed. I went for starter of Onion Bhaji, followed by Chicken Jalfrzi and was blown away with the authentic blend of spices and fresh ingredients.
If you are planning a visit to Sharm El Sheikh this year then I would highly recommend the Bombay Restaurant in Soho Square. If curry is not your thing then you can also enjoy the Chinese, Thai and Asian Fusion Restaurants - all on the same floor.
Enjoy
