New Underwater Sculpture Park in Mexico
A new underwater sculpture park similar to the one found in Grenada opened on the 27th November. The UK artist Jason Caires Taylor designed the 400 statues that will form an artificial reef that has already attracts a plethora of marine life. Local divers have welcomed the opening of this new underwater attraction by easing the pressure on the Cancun Marine parks reefs by taking some of the annual 750,000 divers each year.
This new and unique dive site is between 3 and 8 metres in depth and can be enjoyed by snorkelers and divers as well as day trippers on glass bottom boat trips. Tropical Sky offer a wide range of accommodation in Cancun and the surrounding areas, full details of our holidays can be viewed here: http://www.tropicalsky.co.uk/Mexico_holidays.htm
