Traveling through Egypt can be accomplished using any of the ways mentioned above but understand that certain areas of Egypt are easier or more accessible than other areas. Depending on your time constraints for example, driving to Alexandria from Cairo is very straightforward and only 3 hours away. But Luxor is easier to reach if you fly or take a train.

Thank you for your informative post! You have really focused on the right reasons to visit Egypt. I have a fascination with ancient archaeology. I thought that the Sphinx was made to guard the Pyramid. But recently I visited a very informative website, http://www.egypttourinfo.com/giza-pyramids-tours.html, which is an Egypt travel guide. From that website I learned that the Sphinx is human-headed lion. It was originally built in honor of the sun god Re-Horakhty. Even today, the Pyramid is one of the seven wonders for its amazing archaeology.
